The Experience

Whether Mark is styling a long, voluminous do’ or cutting a short and sleek bob, hair is cut when wet and finished when dry because one only sees the full result of the silhouette once the hair has dried. Subtle shaping and angling is a crucial step in Mark’s styling process, as it completes the look and complements the overall shape of the face. To conclude your appointment, Mark will educate you on the recommended products for your hair type and how to manage and care for your hair with ease on a daily basis.

Mark landed an apprenticeship with world-renowned hairstylist John Barrett at his Bergdorf Goodman salon where he honed his ability to embrace elegance and capture the allure of women through styling their hair. He developed an assortment of clientele ranging from celebrities, models, businesswomen, socialites and other various personalities that the fast-paced city of New York offers. In addition to Mark’s success at John Barrett, his passion has brought him several opportunities to travel the world extensively and work with notable publications including Sports Illustrated and Vanity Fair, as well as a multitude of highly-recognized events and shows including The Academy Awards, New York Fashion Week and Good Morning America, to name a few.
