Mark  is a native of Russia who migrated to the United States when he was six years old. As a third generation hair stylist, his family background speaks for his undeniable talent and natural eye for the aesthetics. He attended beauty school at seventeen then apprenticed with world-renowned hairstylist John Barrett at his Bergdorf Goodman salon until he rose among the ranks as a senior hairstylist and has worked alongside household names such as David Evangelista.

He has worked with celebrities including Paris Hilton, Nicky Hilton and their mom, Kathy Hilton as well as Christina Applegate, Angelica Houston, Jade Jagger and Brittany Murphy. He has also worked with different models, businesswomen, socialites and other various personalities in New York and his work has been published with notable publications such as Sports Illustrated and Vanity Fair as well as widely publicized events including The Academy Awards, New York Fashion Week and Good Morning America, to name a few.
